B2 annotation

Hi,

My parents' B-2 visa has an annotation:" 6 mo visit to daughter, states no plan to extend/adjust status". They didn't plan to extend when they applied for visa. But
now I'd like to have them stay with me for a few more months till the spring. Does the annotation mean they cannot apply for extension?

If their I-94 does not state "No EOS/AOS/COS" then they can apply for an extension. However a word of caution. The consul made it clear that when the application was made, your parents stated that they will return in a timely fashion. Applying for an extension will make it very difficult to obtain a visa next time. I would advise not applying for an extension. They call is yours.
