I applied for an extension on 20th of october 2008. My I-94 expired on 7th november 2008. I have the copy of pay order, a confirmation letter from the postal service which delivered my extension request. I am ECFMG certified doctor and the basis of my extension request are :
a) I have interviews for medical residency from December thru January,
b) I have my last exam called Step 3 in feburary .
My questions are:
a) why havnt i received any confirmation from UCSIS for the receipt of my application and what should i do about it?
b) When should I expect to get a decision?
