B1 Visa DS-157 Previous Employer Details

Hello,

Please clarify the doubt on Previous Employer Details in Form DS-157. The issue is explained below:

When i was in a software company (Company 'B'), i was travelled to U.S on B1 and also L1. While filling DS-157 for B1 visa, I have specified my previous employer (Company 'A'), which is a sugar factory. I got the visa. This was happened in August 2004. My company 'A' experience is between Aug'1997 to April'1999. I was in the company 'B' from April'2001 to July'2009.

Now, i am in Company 'C' (Another Software company). Unfortunately, Company 'A' is closed and i dont have any support from it. Thats why, while joining into company 'C', i have not specified my company 'A' experience. I thought, as it is not related software and it wont give any more added value to my profile and also i can not support that experience.

But my doubt is, if i need to apply for B1 Visa from this company 'C', Can i proceed by specifying only Company 'B' as my previous employer in DS-157. That means, i am discarding my company 'A' experience. In company 'B', i worked more than 8 years. Also, my last visa stamping is happened 5 years ago. Please clarify, Is that Ignoring company 'A' details creates any trouble in getting B1 visa now?

Thanks & Regards
Sree.
