B1 to L1

Good day,

My company sent me here with a b1/b2 visa 10 years, multiple entry. They are now trying to get an L1 visa for me. Will the b1/b2 visa still be valid once I get the L1 visa stamp or will it be revoked?

I hope you could kindly send your feedback as soon as possible. I appreciate it very much.

Thanks.

You can have only one valid non immigrant visa at any time. Your B1/B2 visa will be cancelled once you get an L1 visa stamp.

Hi,
You are right. But if anybody got approved for L-1 status means notic of action not visa stamp in passport, then B-1/B-2 visa must be valid or what? On B-1/B-2 he can travel or not?
Thanks.

For B1 to L1

I am sure that the B visa will be valid for 10 years, I have been on an H1 then F1 and then H1 again. I went to canada for my stamping of F1 and was rejected. The Consular officer cancelled my H1 but told me that I could reenter on the B1.

Now my spoyse also has valid B and a H4..

So your B visa is good.
