B1 to H1 & H1 validation

Got Visitors visa denied in 2001 from Mumbai Consular.
Obtained 10 yr.M/E B1/B2 visa from London Consular in 2003.
Visited US 2 times before applying for H1B in 2004 (during the 3rd visit).
Got H1 approved in 2004.
Visa validation not yet done.
Always maintained valid legal H status.
Balance duration of H status available = 2 years.
Present employer has filed LC on 12/13 in EB2.
Need to go to India in early 2008 to get married to an H1B.

Am seeking any ideas from experienced people in the same boat, on the Consular office's possible reactions on H1 validation request since it was obtained as status adjustment in the US.
Alternatively will H4 validation be a safer bet.
My Fiancé is in his 7th year H extension, I-140 approved, Status adjustment filed.PD Oct 2002.

I do not see any issues ... as long as you have paystubs for the H-1B duration, you should be good to go for H-1B stamping.
