B1 stamping while H1 is in admin processing

I appeared for my B1 visa interview in May last year from my present company Company A. It was put under 221g for security clearance.
In the meantime, Company B applied for my H1B , i attended the interview on Nov 7 and it was also put under admin process.
On Nov 14 the approval for my B1 came through asking me to drop documents to VFS dropbox.
As there was no need for me to travel the my present employer A did not ask me to get it stamped. Now we have a requirement wherein i need to travel on B1 from Company A. Can i get my B1 stamped now based on the approval in Nov ?
How will it impact my H1B application.
 
Drop your documents at the consulate and see if they will still entertain the year old B-1 application. It has been close to six month since your name check came back. The consulate may want to run another one.
Now was your H-1B also given a 221(g) due to pending name check or any other reason? Worst case scenario is that the consulate may suspect you of trying to use your B-1 to go to the US and work for the company who sponsored your H-1B. In that case, they may deny your B-1 application. Good luck!!!
 
The reason for my H1 under admin process is unknown. THe VO told me that the consulate wuld get back to me but there is no contact for 6 months. I have written several times to them and they give the standard reply sayinh that the case is under process. I tried NAs services but they also asked me to cojntact the consulate.

guess it is due to a name check
