Hi,
I have put my details in my signature.

I have to extend my stay in US for about 20 days....My I94 expires on 11th may but have a need to stay here till 23rd may....i read it on an immigration site

The link
http://www.immihelp.com/visas/extend.html

that one can only apply for extension after he had lived in US for three months.

....in my case my I94 expires in three months...then how should i apply for the extension...????

Thanks in advance.

my younger brother will be joining me from India so I need extra time as he will be only able to come in May.

Not a good enough reason from USCIS's viewpoint. This could have been addressed easily with a better timed initial entry. If you still want to file an I-539, go ahead. Remember, you risk voiding your B-2 multiple entry visa if your I-539 is denied. Good luck!!!
