B1: entering us time limit

Hi,
Mu mother got B1 visa on dec 23rd 2004 and some of friends told me that she is required to enter US before 23rd of June i.e. she needs to fly within 6 months of visa issuence date. Otherwise her visa won't be valid, is it true??

She can come anytime as long as the visa is valid. My parents came 2 years after they got the their 10-yr multiple entry
