B1/B2 to H1-B. Is it Possible?

Hello, I'm in the US with a B1/B2 Visa. A company is offering me a job. Can I join the company while waiting for my H-1B visa approval? Or should I go back home and wait for approval there?

YOu can join them only after H1 start date comes plus H1 got approved.
