Hi guys,

my girlfriend's situation is the following:She has B1/2 multiple entry visa. She was issued this visa for the tourist purpose 1 year ago. She's been in US 2 times(for 2 and 3 weeks). She was given 6Months permission at the entry airport.

1)can she come to us to take the step2cs with this visa?

2)is she suposed to tell the us consulate what is the reason for her next visit to us before her arrival to us?

3) What is she suposed to tell the immigr.officer about the reason of her visit?

4)She is also planning to take step3.which is better option: to apply for extension or to leave and come back?

5)is it possible to apply for H1B during her stay here on B1/2

Either is OK.

That may be very difficult, if not impossible to do.

No. changing from B1/B2 to H1 status, while being in the US, is not difficult.
.

What do you think about coming to US 3 Months before the CS,reason-preparation?
Thank you guys for answering these important questions!

yes preparation . She could state that she needs to get familiarity with local customs/accents before the exam. she could also states that she intends to observe in a local hospital for a month to prepare better.

i think all u need to speak and understand english well and good bed side manners and always introduce and and let know before exam of dummy pts, rest is basic clinical knowledge

My family member took CS with two weeks preparation and passed. You are evaluated on your Clinical interview skills and examination, interpretation of medical data i.e., your diff diagnoses etc. and language proficiency. You have to pass in all three to get a passing grade in the exam.
First aid for CS is very helpful and is populary used.
hope this helps.
