Wife's EAD approved on 5th April 2006.
EAD card not received, I received emails from USCIS cards are
orders and will be mailed as soon as the card is ready.
She works on EAD and her current EAD expires in mid May 2006.
Please advise what are options.
We have received I-797 approval notice.

Her AP is approved and we have received EAD.

Without receiving the EAD card, can she continue to work, as we have received email and I-797 approval notice.

Urgent help needed.

Similar thing happenned to my wife as well.

The problem we faced was USCIS was expecting biometrics for the EAD filing.
We did a paper file for which the biometrics was not required.

Took Infopass and we're told that no problem with EAD but the biometrics were not in USCIS system.

We filed an inquiry with USCIS and while talking to the Customer Service , we read the whole EAD recipt notice to CSR.

Then they sent us a notice about "The filed Inquiry" ,It's takes blah blah days and so on.

After 2 days we got the EAD card.

If the Service Center processing time and ur receipt date has 30 days diff,
then call USCIS and file an inquiry immediately.

tipsyclub, I am planning to apply apply for Replacement card and Start and enquiry by calling CSR. 30 days will be over in next one week.
Did any one know what is the procedure to apply for replacement card, do we need to take new photographs and do we need to pay another $180 as processing fee,
any inputs.
