Hi everyone,

I am glad that I found this forum. it looks like people here really can give a good advice or comment. I will appreciate if you can help me.

My situation is the following. I entered US with K-1 visa (fiancee visa) and got married (civil marriage) about 1 month ago. My status in US now can be described as "pending", as I even have not applied to Permanent Residence yet. We plan to have a church wedding ceremony in autumn and I would like to invite my brother and one my close friend to US for my wedding. they are from Ukraine as well as me. Do you think it is realistic and feasible idea?

My husband will cover their hotel costs for living during 3-4 days and tickets and it will be mentioned in the invitation. they will come for 3-4 days only.

one friend of mine told me that brother most probably will not be granted B-2 visa. as well as my single female friend.

what do you think?

thank you in advance.

That all depends on whether your two friends can successfully convince the local US consul that they will leave the USA in a timely fashion after attending your wedding.
