Me and my wife were married here in Florida about 3 months. She entered on a B-2 Tourist Visa. That expired about 2 months ago so she is Overstay. I am a USCitizen. Been documenting our relationship assuming that would be needed down the road..ie Life Ins some bills etc... We want to stay together. What would be the best form to file to AOS to Permanent Status?:)

Filed April 17th Appointment Today!

We filed the I485, I30 Docs with Vaccinations and all records on April 17th (did it ourselfs--with help from this website) sent last month on June 13th. We had the interview today (July 13). Went easier than I thought considering my wife (married in Feb 2009) was maybe a week over stayed on the B-2 Visa. Brought the photo album of our wedding along with notarized statements from 3 friends. Officer approved us in 15 minutes. Stamped her Foriegn Passport with the Temporary Approval for immediate work and International Travel to leave the USA. Told us the Green Card would arrive in 6-8 weeks. We were very detail oriented on all the paperwork. I used Accurate Translator for the Birth Certificates(spanish). Nothing questioned. We could'nt be happier.

Hello,

Could you please advise how you answered questions on I-485 forms in regards to "Current Status"? Did you send any proof that she overstayed?

Thank you!
