B-2 Application Questions

Hi,

I came here on H4 visa from India and subsequently, both my husband and I got our GCs. My brother came to the US last year to study and he stays with us and studies in a univ. in the same city. I am employed. My questions are:
1) Who would be the best to sponsor my parents - my husband, brother or myself? Or does that not matter?
2) Does it help if my husband holds an European country citizenship and sponsors my parents?
3) Is there a problem when both kids are in the US?
4) My parents are retired and they are just coming here for a tourist visit - is it okay to give that as the reason?
5) Is it better to apply for them jointly or separately as in a separate I-134 for each?

FYI - they will be applying at Mumbai. Is it better to get an interpretor?

Any answers appreciated. Thanks in advance.

A1: B-2 visas do need sponsors. Applicants qualify on their own. If you are calling "sending an I-134" as "sponsor", then it really makes no difference who sends the I-134. In my opinion, in most cases, an I-134 actually hurts an applicant.
A2: Your husband's european citizenship does not help
A3: Yes it may hurt. Makes it difficult to overcome 214(b).
A4: Perfectly acceptable reason to visit the US
A5: Best that they financially qualify on their own if possible
