Azylum case pendung by judge, next hearing in 2012! i want to have a SSC or TIN

hey guys, help me pleas! i am asylum seeker, my case pending by judge and next hearing in court will be at 2012. i am extremely need social security card OR TIN, cause i don`t have any CA ID yet and life without them i so difficult! i have to applied for state board exam also, but don`t have ssc again! i also tried applied for TIN but IRS didn`t give me! i am thinking to open my business and again faces a troubles ! any advice, maybe you faced the same problems, thank you
 
I think you can file for an Employment Authorization Card while your case is pending, once that's granted you can apply for a SS Card.

I hope someone with this specific (asylum pending in court) is able to better answer your question.
 
check the clock first at immigration 1-800 xxxxxxxx phone( forgot the number)
if the clock past 150 days, u can apply EAD, but if its stopped before 150 days, u have to ask the judge run the clock again, which is difficult to happen
