How long does Asylee family petition takes once the USCIS requests extra documents like Birth Certificate of the Beneficiary, after about the a year of petition? Did anyone experience this kind of scenario? :confused:
 
My family petition been pending for a year too now,can someone help for derivatives already in the U.S.A.
 
When did you apply for your family? How long have you been waiting for? My suggestion : Write to your Senator.

We just received our addition relationship verification documents today. I'm extremely hopeful that they will take a quick decision. I really don't wanna be spending $340 on OPT Application fees.
 
God is green, they approved my case that my father filed 8 days after they received additional documents. Hope it helps.
