I am happy to let you all know that, finally I have been awarded GC :-) meaning my I-485 is approved :)

No update online, but when I called the IO today, the nice lady told me that it was approved last week and cards have been ordered.

Its been a loooong wait for me but wish you all waiting for approvals that you get you GC soon too.

Thanks for all those in this forum who provided me and others with info.....

Was there any LUDs on your case recently?

No LUDs on my case. Perhaps my case was handled by a non-LUD officer. Meaning someone who doesn't fiddle with computers when processing cases :-) I really had very few LUDs on my case in the long history.

Where / which number do you guys call to check the status of your pending I-485 case? I have been checking my status via Internet. I had 2 LUDs one on 7/2 and one on 7/9 after receiving an automated e-mail that they have received my repsponse to RFE on June 30 and I will hear back them withing 2-months.
Where should I call to get the information you are getting?

I called 1 800 375 5283.

then select 1,2,2,6, 1 and put your receipt # then 1...u'll get the status. Then you can do 3, 4 depending on the option you want...

Thank you! I just called them and received an automated message that said exactly what I have been reading on my online case status:(

You did not follow the complete instructions by jack144 and only listened to the Automated Message. There are steps after the message as jack144 suggested....Option 3 and then 4.

Got my physical green card :-)

Finally the piece of plastic that I have been wanting for 5-6 years has arrived today :-) Just updating the forum and continue to support fellow aspirants with any info that I can provide :-)
 
Plastic Cards, Approval letters, Welcome Notices and LUDs

Although I received my physical Green Card today, No LUDs are emails yet..... online shows, my GC is being processed.

I called IO today to find out -- She told that since they have so many cases being approved, they coudn't update the online status. Which is fair enoff cause I don't care about the status online although it is misleading. When I asked about the approval notice, she told me that the letter on which my GC was attached and sent was the approval letter for me and that apart from the welcome letter that I received last week, they don't send any other approval letter.

Anyways, I hope to continue helping out fellow GC aspirants for a lil while until I get used to not going to immigration.com :-)
