The AVM says " 975-999 days".

I spoke to an IIO las friday and she said "we are waiting
for the it might IBIS check from FBI". I was under the impression
that IBIS check starts only when the case is assigned to an
officer.I forgot to ask if mmy case was assigned to an officer.

So I'm not sure what is happening. Anyways my AVM still says
"975-999 days".I don't know when it was supposed to change
to "..... resumed .....", because it never happened to me.

I tthink there were some approvals on this board who had
"975-999 days" till the end.

I wish INS were more consistent with everyone.

975..999 for wac-02-35 as well.

same here...fp 3/19, san jose, no change after 2 fax inquries as well

Common thing

Looks like the common points inall the cases are:

FP location : San Jose
FP date : sometime in March.

Don't what happened.

Called IIO

Same here. WAC-02-115-XXXXX. FP Done sometime in March @ San Jose. (Originally @ Oakland but did earlier) Called IIO 2 days ago, she said "FP received everything fine, case not assign".

same here

AVM has never changed...975-999 days....always
Have spoken to IIO a couple of times.....FP okay, not assigned, no idea when will it be assigned was the last I heard about a month back. Haven't spoken to an IIO recently.

As CSC 485 dates were moving by a month for the last several months I was hoping that it will show 10/01 in the last report (09/27) and then call IIO or send fax to get a status. But...I guess all bets are off when u are off when u r dealing with INS...

:confused:Same message since 4 months now. The problem seems to be fingerprinting in March (2nd week) from San Jose. I did early fingerprinting (was scheduled in early April at oakland) - now wish I hadn't. Early finger printing doesn't make a difference.

I have my FP done in early August, but the AVM is till 975-999 days......

I had the similar situation duing I140 petition. I got RFE and replied, but the AVM never changed until approved. I guess the sequence of updated AVM is based on the last name. My last name stared with "Z".

It has nothing to do with march FP.
I also got my FP done in March though it was schduled in April.
My AVM has got changed to Processing resumed for last 5 months.

Where as my spouse one's hasn't got changed yet........

It must be march

Hero,
It is something to do with march . It doesn't mean that it haapens to all guys who did to FP in march. But all the guys who are experiencing this so far gave their FP's in March.

As K88 suggested it has nothing to do with last name. My last name starts with "A'

Yeah, I've got the same case.

WAC-01-137-xxxxx
RD: 3/2/01
ND: 3/23/01
FP: 4/18/02, san jose

I missed FP notice from INS last sep. because I move to a new location. After unimaginable all kinds of inquiries I got the FP notice. One officer said my FP notice was so old out of half year that I need a new from INS. After several days anothe INS officer said I could do FP with that OLD fp notice. And I did it on 4/18/02 at San Jose.

One week, two weeks, one month passed I still got the original AVM ".....9xx - 9xx days". FBI told us FP results sent out 3 days after the FP.

IIO told me my case is still pending.

My layer calmed me, said somebody got approved while AVM still "9xx-9xx".

I have 2 questions:
1. what's the meaning of "the case assigned to an officer" ?
2. how to inquiry such case ? thanks

Avm still says " 975 -999 days blah blah blah. sick & tired of waiting.

I am silent visitor & noticed that few fellow gc aspirants have run threads from WAC -040 & WAC -050. Has anybody run WAC-02 -35 series? Appreciate your responses.
