AVM says Record not found for the last 7 months

Hi all:

When i call CSC INS, AVM says "record not found" for I-485 WAC numbers.
Any body in the similar situation?

Priority date Jan 99.
Filed for I-485 AOS in June, 2000 (as Eb2-litigation case).
got I-485 receipts in August 2000.
EB2 I-140 approved September, 2000.

EAD/AP approved in December 2000
FP done on 1/29/01.

IIO says Case is not assigned. They are doing investigation.
I called FBI already, they say have sent the info to INS
in February. Any idea what investigation?

I have no clue on what is going on there?
Anybody in similar situation? Is there anything i can do?
Anybody waiting this long after FP done?

My case too. AVM says my case not found.
PD 8/95
RD 1/5/01
PD 1/22/01
AP 2/12/01 recvd 2/23/01
FP 3/3/01 as scheduled
EAD 3/15/01

Everything seems ok (EAD, FP, AP got approved in normal time) except this abnormality. I am not sure why AVM says case not found for our WAC#s.

1. Yes.
2. They finally did update the AVM to say that it is approved. Thats how I know that it is approved. Still waiting for approval notice.

   application is the completion of the "background checks" from your
   country---not the FBI checks.\'.

   Does anybody know or heard of these background checks being done?
   Specifically want feed back from Eb2-RIR-INDIA litigation cases?
   Any body in similar situation? How long do these checks take?
