AVM says it will take 365-540 days

My PD is 07/21/97. It became current for March. We had already received RFE back in september. They have received our RFE on Oct 12. Our FP was done in June 2000.
Till last week, AVM was saying that on September they sent an RFE. Now I checked AVM yesterday, it says that it will take 365-540 days.

Anybody has any idea why that message is coming up & how long it will take for approval after this message?

Please post your details so that we can take our best guesses about when you can expect an approval. Generally, after INS recieves response to RFE it takes them around 2 weeks to make a decision.

I am exactly in the same boat. But the AVM for my case indicates that it about 180 days. Since the dates are current now for March 2001, we can expect our\'s to be apporved very soon(say around 2-3 months if we are lucky!)

Here are my details :

EB3 - India(RIR)
PD : 07/10/1997
RD : 08/1999
ND : 09/1999
FP : 07/2000
RFE requested : 25/11/2000
RFE responded : 01/12/2000
RFE received by INS : 04/12/2000
AVM says "Since prelimnary processing has been completed it takes about 180 days for this type of case......" so I think we are almost there.

Well, since the processing is almost done for your case. I guess they are just waiting for your date to become current. I think you will hear the approval (best case) sometime next month (March). Depending on how many similar cases are pending I would guess a worst case approval as before end of April.

Kiran, I also get the same message. Any guess when my approval will come?
My details ND 8/27/99, RFE Replied 11/14/2000(Intent to deny), EB3 India. PD 4/1/97 became current in Feb 2001.
