avm glitch

called avm on tuesday night 10=00 pm Jan 08 2001
checked for I-485 - message says "FP collected - pending review"
checked for wife\'s EAD - message says "RFE documents recd by INS on Dec 29"

called avm on wednesday night 10=00 pm Jan 09 2001

checked for I-485 - same message
checked for wife\'s EAD - message says "Your case was approved on December 6th- we have sent u a notice. If it has been more than 14 days and u have not recd the notice please call IIO."

I was expecting message "Your EAD card has been ordered" or "Your card has been mailed on XXX"

Also it is more than 34 days (december 6th till today) -

conclusion it is a glitch in avm

next action - shall call IIO tomorrow

Doesn\'t look like an AVM glitch

For most of the folks on this board, AVM initially said, EAD approved and again changed for Cards ordered. I don\'t see any AVM glitch in your wife\'s case.

so why the message saying "notice has been mailed on dec 6th" - we mailed the rfe documents on dec 6th and was acknowledged on dec 28th that they recd the documents

we tried calling CSC to talk with IIO and could not reach IIO

so now at 4=00 we checked the avm again

It has reverted to old message
"Your rfe documents were recd on Dec 28 and approx wait time is blah blah blah"

well - the glitch in my case has been solved
