Is it possible for someone holding a Canadian visa with an expired F1 visa stamp travel to Canada and return to the US under the AVR provision after traveling to another country from Canada.
 
As far as I know, you cannot use AVR if you travel from Canada to a third country and then attempt to re-enter the US from Canada.
