Automatic Revalidation Question

Hi,

I am planning to travel to Mexico next week. I know that if you travel to any of the contiguous territories (Canada / Mexico) and stay there less than 30 days, you can have your H-1B automatically revalidated.

Here is my question:

The H-1B stamp on my passport is expired. I traveled to Canada 2 months back and entered on Adavnce Parole. However, this time I am traveling to Mexico and want to use the valid H-1B I have, to revalidate my H-1, so I could be on H-1 status. Can I do that?
