Automatic Revalidation inside the airport

Any experience using the AVR rule inside the Vancouver Airport?

I'm curious if the US Preclearance Customs inside the YVR airport will stamp my passport on my way back to the US?

I have used the AVR rule many times (usually when I travel to Canada and back to the U.S by car). I remember when I crossed the US Border in Montreal the officer had almost forgotten to stamp my passport. Surprisingly, he asked me why I needed it, he only did so when I told him it was important.

It all depends on the admitting officer. You may ask for one if you want it.
