can I apply for my visa back to the US from a consulate in Canada? does anyone have an update to this?
I am a citizen of Iran, so automatic revalidation does not work for me. I can't enter the US woth my I-94 from Canada since my visa is expired. so I have to apply for my visa in Canada. is there another Law that prohibits me from applying in Canada? I heard only those people from Iran and Iraq can apply for a US visa in Canada that have a residence there, and not on a visitor visa.

Don't think you can apply

... since Iran is considered as a home of terrorism (bull s??t). You can call Toronto consulate to confirm.

No, you cant apply

Citizens of Iran, Iraq and a few other countries can only apply for a visa at a consulate in their home country. Since, there is no US consulate in Iran, you can apply at a consulate which has jurisdiction over Iran. You can only apply in Canada if you are a landed immigrant or a citizen of Canada.
