Oops, I wanted to post it here, but posted it as new thread, anyway, excuse me for duplicating the same, as I thought this msg wud be appropriate here.

For all(Aug Reval) those waiting, Here's one who's got approved today. The SL Date : Aug 6th, DC date : Aug 28th

Called DC just now. My visa is issued, it shall be stamped and shipped. ( Will take some time till I actually get in hand.. ).
Mostly it will be exact 3 months when they will ship it. ( St louis date: 6th Aug.)

Currently they are processing Aug28/29, DC Date cases.

I wouldn't loose my patience. We have still got about 20 days. According to the previous posts, they are processing August last week cases. So, they may do our cases probably some time next week. I would wait and watch. If you dont get it by Nov. 20-21, ask them to send it back.
 
For Sep-05 cases

Hi Guys,
You should get your passports within Nov 21,2003. As per current statistics, you may get yours within Nov 15,2003. So, please don't be in a hurry and cancel your tickets. My DC date is 09/02 and I have booked my tickets on Nov 20,2003. We can do one thing. Around Nov 15, we can ask our travel agents to book and hold tickects for last week of November or First week of December. In case, if we do not receive our papers on right time (say two days before our travel date), we can ask our agent to go ahead and postpone our tickets to somewhere in first week of December. Ofcourse, we need to spend some extra money. My suggestion is, do not go out without stamping, because we are going on vacation to spend the time happily with our family. If we do not get stamping here, we need to spend lots of time to get stamping in Consulates.

joe_path, thanks for your thoughts.
manishg_in , requesting for withdrawal of PP's around nov20-21
doesn't help us as it's very risky(trave date is very close).

currently does any body knows how much time it takes for withdrwal?? official web site says it's 05 business days.
immportal guy from july tracker got with in 02 days, and some one is saying it will take up to 02-03 wk's.any thoughts or info do you guys have please share .

Is it not a best idea to write a letter to DC office to expedite the process because of your travel dates since your dates are very close to be processed. I read somewhere that one of the other guy did the same and got his passport with visa stamp within next few days.

There is no harm in trying this if you are waiting for your passport from last 3 months. I am sure they will take this into account....

PP returns

Hi guys,
Another good news. My brother's DC date is Aug 27. His Visa has been issued on Nov 3,2003. His passport has been picked up today. It will be delivered tomorrow. So far, Visas are issued within 70 days from DC date. If your DC date is 09/05, you should get your passports on Nov 15,2003. Since you guys booked your ticket on Nov 25, 2003, you are safe. Please be patient. If your information is there on DC's systems, your withdrawal will be processed immediately and you could be able to receive your passports within 3 days after your request.

That's wonderful. Hope everything goes well, and we get our PPs in time. I dont want to cancel/postpone my tickets. Guys, please keep updating about your cases, it helps us keep our spirits high.

Yeah, I just checked my FedEx shipment tracking. My PP was picked up by FedEx this afternoon at 3:31 in Washington DC.

PP shipped

Hi,

I am new to this forum. My SL date was Aug 8th and I checked my Fedex tracking number and PP was picked up today (Aug 4th.) Hopefully, it is stamped. I don't know what my DC date is.
