Backdating EB3 is confusing
Last year they gave sudden shock by retrogresion in sep bulletin
this year they are planning slow so it came up in august
there is indication that eb1 for india might get retrogressed next month
Eb2 india is already stuck
EB2 china is next to get retrogressed
Well......my suggestion will be to hold on till NOV 2006 when things will start coming back for Eb2 and Eb1 guys...................these months are always like this...but this year it just came arly!!
 
what does eb2 unavailable mean?

Hi Guys,

What does it mean to have "U" for Eb2 India? Does it mean that they cannot issue you a green card anymore for this fiscal year? When does the next fiscal year begin? So what happens to already submitted application? I have applied 140 and 485 in month of April 2006 for eb2 india. Does it mean that NSC will not even pick my application for processing??

U means VISA # unavaliable for this year which means wait till next year (oct 2006). Oct onwards they will start new fiscal year.........submitted application remaisn pending tilll that point...........................APRIL 2006 eb2 INDIA has long way to go.....before it became unavaiable they were screening jan 2003...........

MY PD is June 2002 but I only filled my 140 and 485 in April 2006.Thanks god atleast have EAD for my wife.The first hurdle was PBEC now I guess the second wait begins...The story continues...So in October will they come up with new numbers? Do they process application in the meantime?

Your 140 and 485 will be picked up when your PD (priority date) is reached. PD is a date when submitted your application for labor cert.

when i was replying ur post i was assuming that u are eb2 without labor
if you are eb2 with labor your labor filling your priorty date!!
