EAD question

My EAD RD is Aug15, still waiting for approving. Can I get a temp EAD from local INS office?
Any clue will be great appreciated.
 
you can get your iEAD on/after the 15th of november

you have to wait for 90 days from your RD to apply for iEAD. you can go and collect your iEAD from a local INS office. you have to download I-765 form from the net and fill it out and take your i-765 receipt notice with you when you go there.

Here are my details and few questions.

Mailed 485(AOS) on Aug 10th 2001
The INS phone systems says they received it on Sept 24rd 2001
Have not got anything so far (no EAD, no AP, no FP notice)
WAC# 1-285-xxxxx
PD: Dec 27 2000
EB2 RIR

Could someone tell me What reciept-date (RD) and notification date (ND) means ??? Is it the date when I mailed out my 485(AOS) ! what exactly is it

Got iEAD at San Jose office today (more info)

EAD is valid for 8 months from today.

My RD is 8/6/2001, plus three months (the 31st day of the month doesnt\' count), the day after that, you can apply iEAD, which is today.

Got there at 11pm. Number 3 in the queue. Got in at 7am, out about
740am. Pretty straight forward. The information officer checks the computer, found that my EAD is not approved, and issued iEAD.

I brought my passport, copy of I-765 and I-485 receipt (I made copies from fax sent by attorney), they took the copy. Take a picture right there, and got the card. No money collected. No separate application.

If you look into your I-485 receipt it will clearely specify ReceiptDate (when INS received your application), NotificationDate (when INS entered your info into the system and gave you a WAC number). Normally receipts are sent to the attorney if you have one, else directly to you. If you didn\'t get your receipt yet then ask your attorney to send you a copy.

I Just fixed the problem (with Netscape 4.x versions). It is not showing data exactly as I wanted (colors) but it is showing the data though.
