Aug 2002 revival

Are there august guys with FP2 DONE IN THE LAST FEW MONTHS AND STILL WAITING (FOREVER???? :mad: :mad: :mad: )
 
My 2nd Fp was done on 03/24/2004.. still no update on the case.. Good Luck luck.. hope we get approvals soon..

485 filed Aug 2002 , 2nd FP was done April 1 ,approved on 27 May.

Congratulations ! Did you by any chance apply/get your 3rd EAD recently? My 485 was filed in June'02, my 3rd EAD was approved on 05/21/04 when I was hoping to get my 485 approved.

As per automated e-mail, online message and phone system, my husband's and my 485 was approved on 6/29/04. We are 8/02 filers. We've been partying for the past couple of days so that's why I am posting so late.

Here are the important dates:

485 RD - 8/02
FP 1 - 9/02, FP 2 - 4/04
EAD 1 - 8/02, EAD 2 - 7/03, EAD 3 - pending (filed in 4/04)
AP 1 - 8/02, AP 2 - 6/03, AP 3 - 6/04
485 approved - 6/29/04

My husband has been here for 15 years:
6 years F1 (4 years BS + 2 years MS)
1 year practical training
6 years H1
2 years EAD

Needless to say he is VERY HAPPY that this saga is over.

I will stick around for a little while to answer any questions that I can.

August 2002 Filers, hold your breath, it is happening one after the other!.

The wait is over! Received 4 emails from USCIS stating the approval of 485 for myself and my wife.

As a regular visitor to this forum, it has been a real good experiance to hear the news shared by all.

Keep up the efforts and share the status of approvals.

My Details:
Applied for Labor: Aug 2000
Aproved Labor & 140 : Aug 2001
Applied for 485: Aug 2002
FP1: 10 Sep 2002
FP2: 4 Mar 2004
Approved EAD3: 6 Jul 2004
Approved 485: 7 Jul 2004

My LUD never changed for 485, EAD3 until approved.

If you have applied for EAD and waiting for 485 Approval after FP2, there has been a trend of 485 approvals, a day after EAD approval.(I have seen a couple of cases including mine.)

I have been a silent lurker all this while. My 485 is finally approved :) . Case details:

Filed I140 and I485 while I was living in California. Moved from California to Connecticut in Nov. 2002 after filing 485. Got no e-mails even though I registered with USCIS website. Don't care about that so much.

I have been waiting and watching. I am yet to received my notice for the 2nd round of finger printing. From the looks of it, people are recieving approvals...what should I do?

My I-485 was approved.

RD = 27th Aug 2002
2nd FP = 15th Apr 2004
RFE = 15th May 2004
RFE replied 1st June 2004
AD = 1St July 2004 :)
Approval notice received 9th July 2004 :)
PassPort Stamped 12th July :)
Card received ??????????? :rolleyes: :confused:

Does anyone know, after stamping the passport, in how many days do we get the card?

I got a e-mail saying card ordered for my wife today. Nothing yet for myself.

Generally it comes within a month or 2 from the time you get the stamp in your passport (or atleast that is the trend I have been seeing).
