One of my friend 485 case got approved yesteday (Jun 16)
His case was transferred to Newark,NJ on Jan 2004.
Interview was easy and 45 mins wait time.
 
Is it possible to post the details of the Interview + documents which are required for interview, Since my case ( Mar 2002 ) got transfered to Newark on Jun 16.
 
They took all his old EAD/AP Cards,3 years of Pay stubs...
...and enquired if he still working with same company.

God knows ..what they will do with those paystubs and old EAD cards

coudl u please ask this friend of yours who had an interview what his approval letter says specifically. does it say which day and date one has to appear for an interview or can one go any day for the stamping. i am planning to go on vacation for 6 weeks to india and just in case my approval comes, i dont want to miss the stamping date. in other words do they give a specific time period like 'go for stamping within 30 days of receiving the approval letter' or do they give u a particular date. also if u happen to miss that date what happens.

Approval Letter

Once your case gets approved, your approval letter does not specify any specific DATE to get your passport stamped.

Usually, you can go and get your passport stamped on ANY Wednesday (appoinment day incase of Newark,NJ) to the INS office and get it stamped.

It is advisable to get your passport stamped within four weeks of your approval.
