My case got approved today. I changed my company(Nortel) on Oct-2002, Beacuse my whole department was scrapped, but my Lawyer never Informed to INS about change of JOb.

I contacted my Virginia Senator( George Allen) on 24-Jan-2003. They senator office sent me e-mail on 28/Jan/2003..saying my case is with an officer as of Jan-28,2003, I will hear some thing from INS office.

Iam very happy today, even though it is a long processing. I started my journey in this country Dec-1995. I did masters in CS here and graduated in Jun-1997. I joined Nortel in July-1997. I applied my greencard in June-2000, I had smooth drive till 2002, where My company layed me off, and I found another job with in a month.

Thanks for rajiv Khanna for Maintaining Out standing website and special thanks for Seema Purohit :) for giving advice to contact local senator.

I will advice to people who are waiting for approval..please be patience you will get your luck..

Yeah man..Things worked very well favour to me. Iam kind relived now. I think ya should contact senator, if you dont hear any thing about your case in next 4 weeks...take care and good luck man
