Aug'2004 - LUD Changed couple of times after Status enquiry

My RD is 08/11/2004. Since I haven't received my approval yet, I was so curious as others and called the emergency number yesterday.

Customer service rep. told me that my application is still pending and my name check is still pending. (Initially, he appeared to be not aware of the process 'name check'). But, finally he said my name check is still pending.
Not sure whether this is a standard answer given to most of the people who call emergency number.

This morning I noticed my LUD changed to 03/29 and I just saw another LUD change, now it is 03/30.

Is it possible to get two LUDs for status enquiry?

Has my name check cleared today? I don't know whats happening with my case.

Mine is EB3, filed my labor in Feb 2001.

Any Idea?

Venki_bala - What can I say, but I have EXACTLY same experience as you had. I also called yesterday but talked to a lady instead. She didn't tell me right away that my application is pending due to namecheck. First she asked me if I had called before, I said no. Then she asked me if my FP is done, I said yes it was done in October. After this point she told me about namecheck. I didn't get good vibes with that answer and I am also thinking
that she gave me some standard answer. My LUD changed first 03/29 and again today 03/30. Funny part is that only LUD changed. The message still says same old thing "On Oct 2 we received your FP results, the processing has resumed blah blah blah" .... I know that for some people the message has changed something like "Your application is under detailed review" or "Your application is pending additional security checks" etc. I hope that my applicatio is not pending due to namecheck and that CSC hasn't reached it yet. Though I am going to find it out from FBI if namecheck has cleared.
 
Even my message hasn't changed, still it says '...We received your fingerprints and processing has resumed blah..blah..blah...'.

You should feel happy for not getting message like '....under detailed review...' or 'Your application is pending additional security checks'. If this is the case, then even USCIS doesn't know how much time they will take to process the application.

Lets hope for the best.

LUD change twice

My LUD changed on 3/30 and again today 3/31.
I did not make any inquiry what-so-ever!!

03/29, 03/30, 04/01

Hopefully, my case will be approved soon without any issue.
 
I called emergency number today. The person who picked the phone was nice. He spent about 10 minutes on phone with me. First thing he asked was if I had an emergency. I told him emergency was not 911 type but I would have to apply for H1 that would cost money. He agreed to provide me details.

He told me that the case may take some time as it was pending name check. I asked why it should take time. He told me that FBI performs the name checks in quotas. The quota of last name check has come and the next one would come when they have next quota to perform checks. He said it was beyond him to help. He had my details of attorney etc. He went thru my case details and told me everything was fine in the case. The only thing awaited was name check. I do not know how much is truth in that.

I do not understand what the quota stuff means but that is what he told me. Let see if I would get LUD on my case.

Looks to me I will have to wait more. The journey is getting painful.
