aug / sept / oct 03 filers awaiting 140 /485 approval

All those filers who applied in Aug, Sept, July and are waiting for their 140 / 485 approval, can they start inquiry for both 140 and 485 since the new memo states that 485 processing should be tracked by 140 processing time.

I guess not, because the official processing times for 485 are still showing 01/2002, you will be surely told to wait before times are past your ND. The memo is after all a memo and not a law unto itself, so they are not bound to follow it.
