Aug/Sept I-140 Approved !!!

I had concurrent filing (EB3) late August, and all the receipt date are in early September.

Today, I was just doing my regular weekly online status ritual before I'm going to post complain about the latest Feb. 22 progress. And here's what I get:

I-140
====
This case has been approved. On October 17, 2002, an approval notice was mailed. If 14 days have passed and you have not received this notice, you may wish to verify or update your address. To update your address, please speak to an Immigration Information Officer during business hours.

EAD
===
On October 17, 2002, after approving your application, we ordered you a new card. Processing normally takes between 60 and 90 days. Your card will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready.

Does this mean my case is alright now? My fingerprint is tomorrow morning!

Isn't that unbelivable! Long Live INS!

Congs ....Its just unbelivable...We opmistic from your approval. Hope they will approve everybody's I 140. Please post if any other guys got their 140 approval.

I hope they will approve mine too.

Check, re-check and check again, still says approved, looks like this is final :D

Just had my finger printed. The INS office looks like an India grocery store located 10 feet under a train track, but the equipment inside are quite impressive. I was looking to get my fingers all red, nothing like that :p
 
Congrats for people whose I140 approved,

But I am confused here. There are so many people waiting long back since Apr/May and I don't understand someone just filed last month are getting their I-140 approved. This is just insanity from INS part. Looks like concurrent filers are getting picked up so that INS can show their efficiency.

BTW I am also concurrent filer but filed 485 after I got I-140 receipt.

Hopefully I will also have luck so see my approval real soon.
 
This is Really CONFUSING

My 140 was applied on June 6th. I applied for for my 485 (concurrent) in Aug last week and got my EAP, AP and Finger prints done.

I still didnt get my 140 approval. and INS is approving August concurrent cases, what about all the people from Feb to July. Are they Crazy?

Please post new posts regarding this issue.....
 
Some times they process Randomly..

I have experienced this when Boston DOL was clearing the Labor certification. Guys who had RD later than by several months, got approved before me. Let us pray everyone gets the 140 approval quickly, it is very much required to use AC-21 portability rule.

140 RD: 06/12/02.
 
Confirm the GC application catogory

I am a bit cofused about the category for application of GC. Please help identify what category in my case, Master, RIR, EB2 or EB3?

EAD: my wife's EAD say approved not my.
AP : my AP says approved. not my wife's

So I would guess they may had cleared some of 140 on October 17 sohow.
But I am looking for approval letter for 140.

Could you please post: If you filed 1140/1485 together late August or you filed I-485 with I-140 receipt(After July 31st when the Concurent Rule came out )?

In case any of you filed I485 with I140 receipt, could you please provide the timelines it would be much appreciated? I am sure, it would help others to assess their cases.

Yes, I have filled concurrent I-140, 485, EAD, AP in 1 package EB3
MD: 8/29/02 I-140, 485, EAD, AP
RD: 9/10/02 I-140, 485, EAD, AP
FP: 10/24/02
Still waiting for EAD card and AP papers.
As per online status
I-140 approved on 10/17
On web EAD for my wife say approved on 10/18
on web AP for me says approved on 10/21
Now I feel littlebit relax, my LC took soo long time so I can't beleve this thing now.

Thank you for the info Sanjay. Goodluck for 485 adjustment. Let's see what Tyzh has to say about his filing. I filed I-140 in July'02 and then filed 485 in Sep(RD:09/22/02). I think they are picking the concurrent apps which were filed all together first and then the cases where 485/EAD/AP was filed with I-140 receipt.

I filed 140/485/EAD together late August. The only date I remember exactly is the priority date on Augus 23. Looks like they pick up some concurrent filing to show the improved efficiency.

BTW, I had a regular labor filed on Nov. 98 by a different lawyer, I'm not sure what's the status on that. Now they are finally processing Oct. Do I need to explicitly close that case?

Are these your I-140 details or is it your EAD/AP ?.
Please specify the dates correctly ?. ND is 09/21/02 ?
