Well, my I-485 has finally been approved after a long ordeal. (RD Aug 22 2002)
My case is one for the historians. Well, here are the details.
Priority Date: April 5 1999
Labor(NOn-RIR) Applied thru New Jersey : Labor cleared from New Jersey June 2001
Federal Labor Applied thru New York: Labor cleared from NY Aug 2002
I-140/I485 (EB3) concurrently applied : ND (Aug 22 2002)
I-140 RFE received October 20 2003
I-140 DENIED due to Company Financials: January 20 2004
I-485 DENIED -- Janaury 20 2004
EAD DENIED - -January 20 2004
Appeal to the Commissioner filed : ND (Feb 18th 2004). My lawyer did an excellent job of
filing every single detail.
7th year H1 filed at Nebraska: ND (Jan 25th 2004)
7th Year H1 Approved at Nebraska: March 30th 2004
I-140 Approved: March 18th 2004 (Approximately 2 Long years)
I-485 Approved: April 30th 2004. I have my courtesy copy in the mail. Will be going to Chicago tomorrow to get my passport stamped.
The feeling has still not sunk in yet. I'm sure it will pretty soon. I Thank everyone for sharing their cases and thoughts on this website.
