My I-485 got apporoved om March 17, actually i didn't check
my status last week, today in the mail i received my courtesy copy of my approval.
iam so happy

ND 08/19/2002
FP 03/28/2003 (did late FP)
RFE 02/17/2004
RFE Reply received 03/02/04
AD 03/17/2004

i would like to Thank Rajiv Khanna for this wonderful website and all the folks who participate in this forum.

i have 2 questions
1, any PP stamping experiences in Philly, what documents
i should carry.
2, iam travelling to India thru Paris would i need Transit VISA
after i get my PP stamped.

rahdhan, congrats on your approval. I know you were struggling to get your EAD/AP renewed. Your hard work paid off. Did you seek help from Senator/Congressman?
 
Nobody's theory is working here. Only BCIS's fuc?????? theory is working. I have replied for RFE couple of months ago and still no response.

I have a question I also posted to Edison -- isn't the information from VSC online saying that they are processing cases from 1/31/02 ??

And your case is from 08/2002 -- so how come?

Today i visited Philly office to Stamp my Passport with I-551.
Officer took my EAD and AP, she said it can take up to 1 year to
get Plastic card.
everything went smoothly..

Yeah i did Update Rupnet.
no i didn't seek Congressman or Senator's Help.

Have a question about stamping::

While going for stamping do we have to take the lastest pay-stubs?

if yes:: what will happen if the current salary is 35% less then the $ employer mentioned on labor?

i didn't take any paystubb, nor they asked me,
only thing they asked is
1. Orginal Approval notice(Courtesy copy)
2. Form of ID Drivers Lincense
3. PhotoGraphs
4. EAD and AP documents.

she fingerprinted my Index finger, and asked me to sign.

Thats it She Stamped my Passport and said you should receive
your card within a year and said iam done.
 
stamping at St.Louis

I got my stamping done today at St.Louis and it was peaceful. Hardly any wait and she asked for the original approval doc, I-94, photos, passport and the EADs (not advance parole). She said it will take at least a year and probably 18months to get the card. Hope she is wrong!

Also, she took the EADs and did not return them as we dont need it anymore. Is this common? rahdhan did the same thing happen to you too?

vscgreen, dengdeng's theory works if you have replied to your RFE more than 4 weeks and if your FP hasn't expired. vscgreen, your FP expired and they have to send you 2nd FP.
