I checked with my attorney about why I still have not received my FP notices and here is her reply. Not really informative but hope she is right and we all get our FPs/I-485 soon.
"Regarding the fingerprint notices, they are usually issued close to the adjudication of the I-485 application. Usually within 6 months. Therefore, you should be receiving notification within the next few months."

Received FP
Just few minutes back I was told by my attorney that she received the FP notice.

deep23, your FP notice must be just around the corner. Let us know when you receive the notice.
By the way, what is "Early FP"? I mean, I know they send notice with specific date for you to appear for FP, then what does "Early FP" means? Can you go before the scheduled date for FP? Do they allow doing that?

There are some posts in the FP forums where people have gone a little earlier than the scheduled FP date. Some people are under the opinion that this will speed up the process (by few weeks). But I am not sure if that is really true.
I will let you know if I hear anything about my FP.

I have seen in some other posts that some people did go earlier than the FP date and they allowed them to take FP. Of course they had FP letter with them with later appointment date. One of my friend did try to go ealier than the appointment date and they did not allow him to take the FP. I am talking about Detroit office.
So I think early FP means going for FP before the appointment date.
