Dudes,

Approved 01/24 according to AVM.
Attorney received approval notice for me on 01/30/02
but not my wife\'s as yet.

Anyone had a similar experience where the spouses
approval notice was delayed? Everything else of ours
have been delivered at exactly the same time
(FP notices, EAD cards, AP etc).

Dependant\'s case pending

The rest of the family got approval 3 months back but one dependant is still pending. Tried calling INS recently but no luck in getting through to IIO. Did manage to get through a month back but got no information.

mat stopper if attorney not far away u could go to his office and pick up the document and go to CSC

lapd got stamp in passport without copy
He went with his other documents and they checked the officer computers of INS and stamped his passport

Mr Stoper.

I have another theory why my wife did not get her copy.
Maybe it is the same for Mrs Stoper.

Early on my wife and I both signed for a attorney representation
doucment (I can\'t remember the form number, but it effectively says,
you give the right for the attorney to rep you).

When I changed attorney, the old attorney wrote to the INS
sayinng they no longer rep us, the new attorney had only me
sign the attorney representation document as I was the primary
applicant. Apparently, previoulsy the INS has used common sense
and realized that wife/husband applications are obviously
reped by the same attorney.

Now I believe technically, my wife does not have any attorney
representation as per the INS and they will not send the original
to my lawyers. As I have moved, my courtesy copy will not come
to me.

if u and wife go to INS after a few days

their systems gets updated and u can stamp without courtesy copy

no harm in trying this right

but dont go immediately

go after a few days and try to read lapd\'s posting
he went to CSC immediately without courtesy and original copy
(lawyers copy) and they told him to come after 3-4 days, they mentioned that their systems were not updated and would be after a few days

Hence, I think there is no harm in doing this.
