I have a question. My wife is having her I-485 pending and she has her own EAD card. I am a Legal Permanent Resident ( i just got mine recently). I want to know if she has any restrictions to work on 1099 as an independent contractor when her I-485 is pending.

She's your dependent I-485 right? Just making sure..

If that's correct (ie, she applied for 485 based on the fact of being your wife), then she's fine working as independent contractor.
 
Yes, she is my wife and she is a 485 applicant, based on my own petition. She is a dependent on my petition.
