I believe your case status moved from Transit to Ready. You have to wait for an email from the embassy, they will send you an email that list out what documents you need to prepare and a link to schedule an interview. I hope you will receive the email soon.

Hello everyone,

I received a notice saying that my case was transferred and that a new office now has jurisdiction. I would like to ask: for anyone who has gone through this process, after how many days did you receive your approval notice following the transfer?

Thank you in advance for sharing your experience.

Any recent approvals?

I applied for my spouse and kid August 2024.
Fingerprints September 2024.
No updates since then.

This is a case inside the US.

Give it about 8 weeks but it should be approved before then.

Usually within 8 weeks, they will send you an approval notice and informing you they have transferred your case to NVC.

I got the below status update via case tracker using the case number and invoice ID number. Does anyone get similar update? what does it mean?

Hello everyone,
I need some help or advice from anyone who has experience with this process. I submitted an inquiry to the NVC after waiting for a month. They sent me the ADD numbers for my two daughters but not for my wife. Then, I emailed the U.S. Embassy, and they sent me all the ADD numbers, including my wife's.

Now my question is: Can I schedule the visa interview before I receive the welcome letter from Embassy?

Thank you in advance for your support.

After I inquired from NVC about the interview, they told me to wait and that the embassy would provide me with a list of available dates. After about a month of waiting I wrote to the embassy asking, if I was the one to schedule the interview or if they would be sending me a date for it. After a week or two they sent both the applicant and the petitioner an appointment letter.

Hello everyone,
Please, anyone have a similar or close enough case to mine?

My i-730 recently gets some updates
- At June 12 “Case Was Transferred To International Office/Consulate”
- next day “Case Was Transferred And A New Office Has Jurisdiction”

then received the transfer notice by mail says “We have completed a preliminary review of your petition“ included this paragraph “Asylee-based Form 1-730 Petitions are transferred to a U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) international field office or to the Department of State (DOS) consulate office in the country where your beneficiary lives. Once that office receives your petition, either the USCIS international field office or the National Visa Center (NVC) will send you instructions for your beneficiary's interview. If your beneficiary moves to a different country, contact the USCIS office or the DOS consulate office in the new country to transfer the petition.”

So I inquired with NVC and attached this notice this week. They replied asking for the approval notice, not the transfer notice!

I tried to get an estimate timeline for the “Approval notice” after “Transferred notice”, but I found it varies between only like 20 days up to one year or so. Some people mentioned that it’s been over a year and still didn’t receive the “Approval Notice”.
When I went back to the I-730 page on the USCIS website, I found that there are some changes in the processing centers and the transfers mostly go to the RIO center.

After you get a glimmer of hope and see these updates on your case, you become really frustrated.

Thanks and good luck for all of us.

Hello Hani,
Could you please tell me after how long you get the approval notice?

Did anybody’s beneficiary recently arrive the US and how long did it take for their EAD to be issued? I’ve been waiting for three months with no receipt number and I called the USCIS and there is no trace of the I-765 application submitted at the port of entry in their system. Any information on this would help. Thanks
