Attorney for i730?

my wife has been approved I-730. we both in us
This is great, I hope we keep getting more approvals! I have another question, how will you get I-94? Do you need to make an infopass appointment at USCIS or they send it to you along with your approval letter?

  • July 18, 2024 – ✅ Asylum Granted
My friend was granted asylum by an immigration judge.
  • October 1, 2024 – Filed Form I-485 (Green Card Application)
He applied for lawful permanent residency (green card) based on his asylee status.
  • February 18, 2025 – Filed Three I-730 Petitions
He submitted I-730 petitions for his wife and two daughters who are living outside the U.S., to bring them to the U.S. as derivative asylees.
  • February 20, 2025 – I-485 Transferred from NBC to TSC
Just two days after filing the I-730s, USCIS transferred his green card case to the Texas Service Center (TSC), where the I-730 petitions were already pending. This is likely to help consolidate the cases.
  • May 16, 2025 – USCIS Linked I-485 and I-730 Cases
After about 86 days of I-730 processing, USCIS transferred all pending applications again and officially linked the I-485 with the I-730s.
My question is do they physically transfer the I-485 to the US consulate ?
Does this happen to any one of this group before.
I know I-485 will only adjudicated inside the US but the status of the I-485 is saying transfer to US consulate.

Interesting...I thought I-485 processing had nothing to do with I-730 processing. I believe they were independent from each other but who knows. I also have three I-730 petitions (two inside the US and one outside) all three still say fees were waived since August 2024 for the US based petitions and since September for the outside of the US petition.

We kind of have a similar timeline but your I-730s are moving.

My timeline:

July 24, 2024 - Asylum Granted
August 8, 2024 - Filed I-730 (two petitions inside the US, they did fingerprints I believe in September)
August 30, 2024 - Filed another I-730 (for dependent outside the US)
November 21, 2024 - Filed I-485 (Did biometrics in December)

And since then no movement on my cases.

i think the coordination of the I-485 and the I-730 speed the process. Do you have any idea when will they send me approval notice and transfer my case to NVC.

I see that users report that after this status, I will receive transfer notice. I am correct or I am missing something. Thanks
You will receive a notice from them which says case was transferred to international/dos consulate in the beneficiary’s residence
