I realize the application process is straight forward but due to certain complications it would be wise for me to got through a lawyer.

Should be $600-$1000, not including the fee if you want to bring the lawer to interview

It depends upon location & complication in case. Many in NYC may ask for $2000. Also, seen $250 ad. while walking down on Jackson Heights, Queens.

Location is Florida. I had an attorney represent me from work for the GC. Since my fp had expired and the IO wanted to see my birth certificate at the original interview, my lawyer was able to get an appointment for fp the next day and the IO appt 2 days later. My company had retained the lawyer for GC for $7k.

My friend in VA paid 700.00 for B2 application. But that's true, depends on location and probably law firm reputation

$1000 + $250/hr for additional documentation that may be required like certified court documents etc.

The cost will depend on what the complications are. There is no point hiring an attorney to fill in the form and send it to the USCIS since that's a rather mechanical operation. If however you want them to gather loads of supporting documentation and attend the interview to argue some matter then it will depend on how much effort they need to put in.
