Attorney Fee

we will start the perm soon. my attorney said the fee has to be paid by my employer. You can see they don't want to pay as a small company although they are willing to sponser me. I thought I read this somewhere it is only a proposal that the fee has to be paid by employer. It has not become a regulation yet. Any comments?

If you wanted GC...then you have to pay the pays and other expenses related to your GC. Most of the consulting companies are doing the same.

HI,

I started GC and my pays are:
(1) $3,000.00 – at commencement of the case;
(2) $1,500.00 - upon approval of the labor certificate (PERM);
(3) $1,500.00 - upon filing of the immigrant petition and application for adjustment of status.

The current filing fees payable to U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services for Form I-140 is $190.00; Form I-485 is $315.00 plus $70.00 for biometric fee (fingerprint processing).
