Hi,

I would like to get your views/ advice on following matter

I am H1B holder (company XXXX)and my greencard petion is pending. I just came out of US for a vacation for 2 weeks. Planning to extend my vacation for some time (may be 6 months - 1 year) due to some family problems.

My questions are
1. How long can i extend my vacation,Is there any time restrictions?

2. Will i be able to join some other company (company YYYY) in India for my time here, may be work for a year and then go back to US and work for same h1b employer.(company XXXX)---Is this cause any problem for my H1B petiion /Greencard process)

Please advice
 
1) There is no limit.
2) Technically, there should not be any issue as long as H1 sponsor and GC sponsor has no issue with it.
