Attorney erred in 140 form

My attorney made a mistake while filing I-140.

For "counrty of birth" field, he used my "city of birth" value. And for my "city of birth" field, he used my "country of birth" value.

As this is I-140 form, I didn't get to check the application for errors before applying. He made similar mistake on I-485 form which I could correct. He sent me copies of both application forms after he filed them and I noticed this error.

How bad a mistake is this? What do we need to do? Whats the best approach?

Please advise.

Thanks in advance.

Lawyer should attach the I-140 filing receipt and request BCIS to correct the wrong info on I-140 form it will be much better if lawyer sends new I-140 form with correct info and that I-140 form signed by your employer should be attached with pending file. Send it with certified return receipt. Some time it is better to also send affidavit singed by before notary for correct info to be attached with I-140 file. It is NOT your mistake Lawyer should get it corrected

Just relax, this is not an issue at all. Filing amendments will only slow your case.
