Hi Anil_kumar,
     Thanks for sharing your information on why your I-485 is still
pending. I am also in the boat. My company also changed its name after
my 140 and before applying I-485. I am still waiting for RFE.I
contacted INS three times in the last two months ( Jan 2001 onwards ),
each time IIO was telling me that it is still with the officer and under
review. Since my PD was not current during those times, I did not ask
for any more details. My PD has become current from Mar 01,2001 onwards.

  After reading your message,I now know why my file is not moving
further . I am planning to call the IIO next Friday( 03/09/2001). I will
let you know our conversation.

      I know there are some more people with Aug/Sep ND without any RFE
and waiting for their approval. if you have any further information on
this, please share with us.

Let\'s wait what they do after the new guidelines which they expect will come by Ist April. If you come across something just share with all of us.
