details

Brahmam,

As I said in the previous thread, it was a regular LC case, not RIR. However it started its life as RIR.

RIR application first received by NC SESA on 12/06/2000.
After NOF from DOL, switch to LC, recruitment instruction received on 07/25/2001.
After posting&interview, Non-RIR LC application sent to NC SESA on
10/24/2001.
LC forwarded to DOL on 11/06/2001.
LC approved on 01/22/2002

Phew! That\'s about all I know. Hope this helps guys, good luck!!

How switch works

Sam,

I am curious about how switching back to regular LC works. Mine RIR sent to NC SESA on 4/2001. Still waiting. I heard some RIR cases have been denied from DOL. If my RIR case is denied, how can I switch back to regular LC? Will I lose my priority date and previous job ads? Do I have to start over and go through all these painful processes again?

Seems like I am stuck in NC forever.

Thanks and congrats!

Peter
