Yes. your guess is right. My case was approved on 2/4/04.


1. applied to SESA office : 5/12/01 (my attorney took 4 full months to apply)

2. forward to US DOL : 2/6/03

3. approved : 2/4/04

For last two weeks I am transferring my case to new attorney's office (as this guy took 4 months to apply in RIR even after all documensts are ready).

came to know from new attorney today : 2/23/04. Because I am in the process of transferring the case, old attorney did not bother to let me know. I haven't seen a copy of it yet.

automated system 404-562-2131 still says "Received"
www.flcdatacenter.com still says "Received"
in person 404-562-2115 still says "Received".

Anyway, I will update you guys when I have more information on this. Best of luck.
 
Every month we are waiting for ATL to update, and nothing happens!

This is the third month they are doing this. I dont know how long they would struggle to get through Dec. Dec is the month with lot of holidays and lot of real work done. If DOL cannot process Dec month, how can some one expect some other month to be completed in equal amount of processing time.

How many people in this forum do really think that they(DOL) would process Dec month by Apr. Do you?

I really have no hope, and I think it is time for action.

I see and hear people who file Labor as Cooks get faster processing. They would even have filed their papers on Nov.

Can someone download the 32MB file posted on FDBL site, and sort them according to occupations, to find out what occupations get faster processing. I have been finding by just looking at the 32MB dump, indicating me whether DOL is actually doing this purposefully. I found that many lower payed jobs like Cooks, Horse trainers, etc. are getting faster processing. Also, what I have found that some one of the odd ones ( high payed jobs) that get faster processing are orginating from Universities or some kind of non-profit organization.

I would really be grateful if some one would help me out in this regard. I want to quantify this, before I could make some conclusions.

For those who are still waiting
All the cases filed after June 23rd 2003 in my company have been certified.
All cases prior to June are still pending.

But,one encouraging thing is that ,they have even processed September 2003 cases.
Lets hope that all the contract people at ATL DOL will start processing the pending cases from Dec 2002.

Hi All,

I can not answer all questions for "kewlsans" but from a search on this forum on his/her username, it appears to me that his/her SESA is NC. As most of us know that should be good news since it is not a GA SESA cases where we have seen this trend before.

I follow this forum without much participation as my wife's case is pending in Atl with date 09/29 from FL, category EB3. Also, this may not be of much relevance here but just to share, my application is also pending from Phily DOL since Aug., 03.

Finally, there seems to be some movement in Atlanta .... Good luck to you all...

if i posted some information,.it means that I am giving what i can.
I am sorry,but,there are many people from my company who are also members in this forum.If they want,they will post the details here.I cannot disclose all of their information as they might not like it.
Again,i just wanted to mention that atleast the dates are moving.

US DOL receipt date : 2/6/03
US DOL approved (certified) : 2/4/04
US DOL faxed a copy of certified labor to my attorney : 2/4/04
My attorney recieved Certified Labor on : 2/17/04
I came to know about certification : 2/23/04
State of employment : Georgia
Case type : RIR
Job type : software

Other info :
1. In person enquiry @ 404-562-2115 - status received.
Lady said they are processing cases recieved in Jan,03.

2. automated enquiry @ 404-562-2131 - status received

3. www.flcdatacenter.com - status recieved.

I will check the AVM/website and update you guys when I see my case "approved".

FYI : I am going for I-140/I-485 concurrent filing.

send in your I-140 first and then file 485 when you get the I-140 receipt notice. i have observe applications filed in such a way are getting 140 approved faster. mailing 140 along with 485 is a different address than mailing 140 only.

its just from observence from few colleagues who worked with me and filed at the same time.

I have an RFE on my application. My attorney replied back the next day he got the rfe letter. Still waiting no news yet. its been a week.
will update as soon as I hear anything.
