+++ Atlanta DO Green Card Timeline Tracker. Please post here +++

I am starting a tracker for a Green Card for those who went through the ATL DO. My interview was on Monday, Feb. 06, 2006. I was told to wait 2 weeks.

Please post your experiences here so we can benchmark against each other.

So:

- When was your interview?
- When did you receive your GC in the mail?
- How did you obtain your GC (though Marriage, thgough Employment, through Relatives, etc.)?

MY INTERVIEW WAS ON 2/6/06 too

But in Washington, I have not received any approval or welcome letter or an update in the uscis web site. Got only my passport stamped.

Just got this e-mail:
Current Status:

On February 15, 2006, after approving your application, we ordered you a new card. Your card will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready.

Will let you know when it is in hand!!!!!!!!!

i just back from outside USA , iwas viseting my family

21 Dec 2005 was my intrview and got my passport stamped

28 DEC 2005 Recived my GC

GC thru my wife

10 Jan 2006 went viset my family and just back without any problem

How long can I be outside of the US without jeopardizing my Conditional Green Card status; in other words, what is the maximum timeframe that I can be absent from the US?

I could not find it anywhere. Thank you for your help.
 
My greencard arrived last Saturday, February 18. I was out of town when it arrived. No misspellings on card, etc...
 
Received card 2/22; Interview date was 1/18; Card shows valid date 1/18/2006 to 1/18/2008
 
Delay for approval after appt. with immi. officer

I filed on April 04 for I485.
I wenr to the interview in August 05.
The case hasn't been approved. I haven't receive any LUD. letter,or GC.
WHAT CAN I DO?
 
Stolen EADs and passports

I applied my paper EAD3 at VSC in 12/05. It was transfered to Atlanta in 02/06. It was over 90 days last week. I took infopass appt. for 3/30/06. Unfortunately, I could not take a day off to go to Atlanta (6 hrs one-way).
I tried to get Monday infopass appt. No luck. I decided to go on Monday (04/03/06) with the old infopass appt letter. I had my passports, copies of I-765 forms with our SSN, DOB, A#, all personal info, old EADs in my bag. It was stolen from my car (04/01/06) in Atlanta. So I did not go to ATL DO and drove 6 hrs back to home.

Anybody had similar experience?
Any advice in terms USCIS, ID theft/fraud, etc.,?

If I knew that you was coming to ATL without an INFOPASS for that date, I would tell you that even did not try to come. The first thing that you must show at the lobby of the building is your INFOPASS and if you don't appear on the system schedule you are not going further.

You must report everything at the police station and they should give you a police report (in Atlanta) and keep that with you. Unfortunately since you don't have any of your papers with you, even your passports? for your security report them to your Consulate as soon as possible, and get new passport. You should get one with an amendment that the previous one was stolen (but you need a police report for it, it is my understanding).

Did you keep photocopies of your receipt notices? If you do, then you still can use them to get an INFOPASS and try to know what is going on with your EAD or trying to get an iEAD and with your police report.

Where did you park your car?
