Atlanta District Office approves Advance Parole sans Interview

As many of you know, my Advance Parole was transferred to ATL office "for them to schedule and conduct an interview." As the dates had moved, there was stoic silence. So, I called 1-800 and asked them about my status and I was given a standard reply that I will get "some word" about my case in mail within the next 30 days. About 7 days later, I got a surprise in my mail, yesterday -- My Advance Parole document was approved even without an interview.

Online status still remains the same, saying that mine is transferred for an interview, blah, blah.

My I-485 is still pending with ATL for interview. There is no word, yet, on this. I am currently out of town and may have delayed responses in this thread. Kindly do not mind.

Glad to see, you got AP. for GC 'Press Any key to Continue' :D
